Ajay ends the 144-day fasting for scoring with Al-Ahly in front of the vanguards

Nigerian Junior Ajay, the Al-Ahly player, ended the 144-day fasting for scoring with the Red Castle after scoring a double in his team's victory over Al-Jaysh with two goals to a goal in the match that brought them together on Sunday evening at Al-Ahly and Al-Salam Stadium in the 14th round of the Egyptian League competition.

Ajay missed a goal since his goal against Enppi in the Egyptian League last season on October 7, more than 4 months ago.

And Nigerian Ajay succeeded in the 32nd minute in reaching the equalizer for the red giant from an elaborate header that Muhammad Bassam, the goalkeeper of Talaia Al-Jaysh, missed.

Al-Ahly raised its score to 24 points and rose to the league title, and has four postponed matches, while Al-Jaysh’s balance stagnated at 12 points in the fifteenth place and has a postponed match.

On the other hand, Hamdy Fathy, the Al-Ahly midfielder, was confirmed to be absent from his team’s next match against Ismaeli, which is scheduled to be held next March 10 at the Burj Al Arab stadium, within the postponements of the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League competition, due to his receiving the third warning.

Mahmoud Al-Banna, the referee of the Al-Ahly and Al-Jaysh match, was most famous for the yellow card to Hamdi Fathy in the 42nd minute, after he obstructed Amr Gamal, the Tala'a Al-Jaysh player, in a joint ball, so that the Al-Ahly player got the third warning and missed the Dervish confrontation.
