25 million euros grant from Germany to Tunisia to support small and medium enterprises



Germany provided a financial grant of 25 million euros for the program, financing for very small, small and medium-sized enterprises to boost jobs, in Tunisia, as part of the contribution to the guarantee fund to support small enterprises and help them withstand economic crises, especially the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement today, Wednesday, Othman Al-Jarandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad praised the distinguished level of Tunisian-German relations, especially in the last ten years, stressing the importance of continuing consultations to support and strengthen the existing friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various political and diplomatic fields. And economic.

The Tunisian Foreign Minister pointed out the importance of consultations to find new forms of cooperation that take into account regional and international developments, foremost of which is how to address the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic at the economic and social levels.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tunis Peter Bruegel, and members of the Tunisian and German delegations participating in the negotiating meeting on Tunisian-German financial and technical cooperation.
