Paris Saint-Germain settles the first half against Manchester City with a goal

French Paris Saint-Germain ended the first half of facing Manchester City, with a goal in the match between the two teams, at the "Parc de Prince" stadium, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals for the current season 2020-2021.

Brazilian Marquinhos scored the goal with a superb header in the 15th minute, following an elaborate cross by Angel Di Maria from a corner kick.

Paris Saint-Germain was the better party throughout the events of the first half and its players posed a great danger to the opponent's goal.

City's most dangerous attacks were through Phil Foden in the 42nd minute, after he fired a powerful ball from inside the penalty area, which was deftly saved by goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the Champions League semi-finals, after defeating Bayern Munich 3-2 in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the "Allianz Arena", and losing to them 0-1 in the second leg.

Manchester City also rose to the same round, after defeating Borussia Dortmund 4-2 in aggregate, the home and away matches.

The Paris Saint-Germain summit against Manchester City, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, is directed by German referee Felix Brisch.
