The Jordanian State Security Prosecution: 18 detainees pending destabilization case in the Kingdom


The competent authorities have arrested 18 persons accused of attempting to destabilize the kingdom in a case known as "sedition."


A source in the Military Public Prosecution at the State Security Court told the Jordan News Agency, today, Wednesday, that the investigations with the accused have ended and the case will be referred to the court after the completion of the final stages of the investigation and the legal action required.


The Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court, Brigadier General, Military Judge Hazem Al-Majali, announced that the Public Prosecution has completed its investigations related to the recent events that the kingdom has been exposed to recently.


He said, "The Public Prosecution of the State Security Court has completed its investigations related to the recent events that the Kingdom has been exposed to recently, and it was found that, as a result of the investigation, they contained different and different roles and facts for those involved in them, which would pose a clear threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom.


He indicated that the State Security Prosecution is working on completing the final stages of the investigation and taking the legal requirements to refer them to the State Security Court.
