The New York Times: Trump lawyer home searched and electronic devices confiscated


The New York Times reported that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted a search of the home of Rudolf Giuliani, former New York mayor and lawyer for former US President Donald Trump, according to a search warrant issued in this regard.


The newspaper stated, in a report on its website, citing informed sources, that the inspection was aimed at confiscating all electronic devices from his home as part of an investigation into whether Giuliani acted as an unregistered foreign agent for the Trump administration.


The newspaper added that an inspection of the home of the prominent lawyer is a huge step forward in the investigation that focuses on Giuliani's activities, which include Ukraine, and whether the American lawyer sought to influence US policy towards Ukraine.
