Euro 2020: a plane flies over the Parken stadium to support Denmark against Finland


A plane flew over the "Parken" stadium in Copenhagen, to support the Danish national team against Finland in the match that will bring the two teams together, today, Saturday, in the second group competitions of the European Nations Cup "Euro 2020".


The cameras captured a plane flying over the "Parken" stadium, carrying a banner in support of Denmark against Finland in today's match, in the European Nations Cup.


Denmark enters the match in search of the three points, especially as it was able to provide a good return during the preparations for the tournament, other than playing today's match at home and among its fans.


Denmark has an honorable history in the European Nations Championship, as it was eliminated from the semi-finals twice in 1964 and 1984, while it was eliminated from the quarter-finals in 2004, and was eliminated from the group stage 4 times.


The European Championship was supposed to be held in the summer of last year, but it was postponed for the current year due to the crisis of the Corona virus pandemic.


The Danish government said it would abolish the wearing of face masks in most public places, and would allow 25,000 fans to attend the Euro 2020 football matches that will be held in Copenhagen.


On the other hand, the Finland national team, in search of an honorable performance, enters a historic appearance that takes place for the first time amid a state of passion from the fans who wish for a strong presence for the team in the tournament.


Teemu Pukki, the most prominent star in Finland, holds his country's hopes of skipping the group stage and making history, and thanks to his performance in the qualifying campaign in numbers, Pukki remains the first star within the ranks of the Finnish team, as the veteran striker scored 10 goals in the qualifying campaign for the European Nations Championship, He succeeded in leading his country to the Euro competitions.


Finland recorded its first participation in the Euro after it finished second in the tenth group in the qualifiers with 18 points from 6 victories and 4 defeats.
