Planning: Tomorrow the start of the first group training program of the "Be an Ambassador" initiative


The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development - the training arm of the ministry - announced the completion of the first group of the “Be an Ambassador” initiative at the second level (the specialized level), and the policy paper submitted by the trainees is being evaluated through the relevant committee, provided that the level begins The third is through the ToT program, tomorrow, Sunday, June 6, and continues until June 17.

 

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, confirmed that the Be an Ambassador initiative aims to build national capacities in the field of sustainable development through a series of training courses for youth, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, noting that the initiative’s training program includes familiarizing On development patterns, and a background on the development of environmental thought in the modern era, with the definition of the concept of sustainable, just and comprehensive development, as well as the definition of the United Nations sustainable development goals, the green economy, and the circular economy as mechanisms to achieve sustainable development.

 

For her part, Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, explained that the number of trainees in the first group is 103 representing the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Gharbia, South Sinai, Beni Suef, Sohag, Aswan, Alexandria, Dakahlia, Suez, Sharkia, Fayoum, Menoufia, New Valley, Port Said, Kafr El-Sheikh, Qena, Ismailia, noting that a group of lecturers and practitioners were hired, and trainees are monitored and their commitment periodically through interactive tests.
