Poland bans the use of phones by pedestrians to reduce road accidents

Today, Tuesday, the authorities in Poland took decisions to prohibit pedestrians from using phones while crossing the road to prevent more road accidents.

Radio Poland reported that the move came within the framework of other measures aimed at improving safety on dangerous roads in the country.

It is noteworthy that nearly 2,500 people died in road accidents in Poland last year, and the number of pedestrian casualties is the highest in Europe.
