Find out the latest developments in Mohamed Salah's new contract with Liverpool

"Sky Sports Italia" correspondent, Fabrizio Romano, suggested that the English club Liverpool will enter into serious negotiations with the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, the Reds' top scorer in the previous three seasons, in the coming days, in light of the increasing offers that the player receives during the current period.

Mohamed Salah's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the next 2023 season, and no agreement has been reached between the English club and the Egyptian international on renewing his contract until this moment.

Romano has already indicated that the issue of renewing Salah's contract has not been taken seriously by Liverpool or by the player himself.

Fabrizio Romano said in a tweet on his Twitter page: "Contract talks between the club and Salah are not in the final stages yet. Liverpool and Salah have spoken, but no progress has been made so far."

Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017, coming from Roma for 42 million euros.

Salah participated with Liverpool in 203 matches in all competitions, during which he scored 125 goals and provided 47 assists.

Salah indicated earlier this year that Liverpool had not actually contacted him until this moment about renewing his contract with the team.
