The Iraqi government calls on women to participate actively in the elections

Today, Saturday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, called on women to actively participate in the elections.


Al-Kazemi said during his speech at the conference to combat violence against women, that "violations against women are still more prevalent," adding, "We must emulate our authentic culture of respect for women."


The Prime Minister directed the Ministries of Justice and Interior to provide all protection and rights for women.


Al-Kazemi said, "The Ministries of Justice and Interior and other ministries must provide justice to women, protect them and secure all their rights," calling on "the next parliament to legislate domestic violence and cybercrime laws."
